It is typically used when speed is a matter, file transfers are considerable and connections are spread throughout the day.

As much as hardware is concerned, a router is needed (i.e. CISCO 1601) to be connected directly to your network. Then a point-to-point leased line has to be ordered to Swisscom, specifying the bandwidth required.

Included are:
- Mail services, WWW and Usenet
- Required IP addresses
- Necessary information to configure your router
- Router configuration at NetServ location
- Coordination with Swisscom for the leased line application and installation.

Not included (charged separately) are:
- Leased line installation and tests
- Electrician work at customer's location
- Monthly charges for the leased line and modems renting (between 150.- and 400.- per month, depending on speed and distance). Just give us a call and we will send you a detailed offer regarding those expenses.
- Router installation at the customer's site
- PC's configuration at the customer's site.

No, no other billing for will be issued for services such as communications, data transfers or whatsoever. And because you are permanently connected to the Internet, this solution allows you to host a WEB server at your location.

According to the actual Swisscom phone rates (ca.Frs 4.--/hour), this solution is more convenient for connections above 3.5 hours a day (break-even point).

Because you are connected to the Internet 24h/24h, it is highly recommended to implement a security system to protect your network. According to your budget and needs, we can offer you different security solutions such as:
- Router address filtering (ACL)
- Proxy Server and/or NAT (IP Address translation)
- Firewall (i.e. CISCO PIX)
